We have one fic without an artist. Can one of our existing artists take on a second project? Can we find someone else?

Here's the FAQ and Schedule. The main thing to know is that art is due in December, posting dates to be determined at Date Claims.

As a reminder for everyone, Date Claims are coming up on the 3rd of November. Writers, make sure you are sending your Artist something to read when you can, so they can get started on making art.

Summary: (100 words or less) Pre-series: Harold was a boy genius with the Spark and no clue that he was related to two of Europa's most powerful women. John was an orphan with no clue that he was descended from one of Europa's greatest terrors. They found their families in Mechanicsburg; they found each other in New Rochelle. And together they set out to save lives with the help of Harold's secret weapon: Udjat, the Muse of Surveillance, which gave rise to Project Northern Lights.

Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply; POI-canon-typical violence, GG-canon-typical weirdness (e.g., poisons that cause quantum-level damage when ingested) and allusions to a form of mind control that's a big plot device in GG.

Art Wishlist: (what media you're open to, hoping for, any ideas)

- Media: Any, although manips might be tough because GG is a webcomic

- Character design: The Machine's clank (robot) form, Udjat, is inspired by the Storm King's Muses, a set of nine clanks that Master van Rijn (a GG-verse mix of Rembrandt van Rijn and Leonardo da Vinci) made for Andronicus Valois (the GG-verse inversion of Louis XIV). Besides resembling a woman with white enamel "skin" over her brass casing, I picture her having camera lenses for eyes, each outlined with black paint to resemble the Eye of Horus.

- Settings: New York, New Rochelle, and Ordos should look more or less the same, just a few notches more steampunk; Ordos might have some rusting hulks of abandoned mechs scattered about, but it's still a ghost town. Mechanicsburg and Paris are markedly more steampunk.

- Ideas: The Eye of Horus and the Heterodyne trilobite sigil would make good motifs, and it might be fun to slip in a Wulfenbach badge for Nathan and a Jägermonster sigil for John. As for scenes... Harold and Agatha in the Immortal Library, a worried Nathan either watching Harold and a swarm of dingbots as they construct Udjat or checking on Harold as he comes out of fugue when Udjat is complete, John getting a visit from Maxim while recovering in the Great Hospital after Ordos, John running into Harold at the hospital in New Rochelle and actually seeing him (unlike canon), John kneeling before Harold in his library to swear the Jägertroth, Harold introducing John to Udjat.
